“How to speak Austrayen” Task: Create your own “How to speak Austrayen” alphabetical list (follow the NZ example). Use words that Australians pronounce differently/strangely, e.g. carn (for come on). Include the phonetic spelling for each word. This will be part of your first LA – presentation is important! Begin your draft next lesson whilst I am away.
For example: 1       		2          	3 C is for ‘carn’	(kan)...	as in come on!   Ensure you have the above three parts for each letter: 1 = the letter and corresponding Aussie word 2 = the phonetic spelling of the word (the pronunciation) 3 = the meaning of the word/saying
