ANZAC Day is a national day of remembrance in Australia and New Zealand that honours members of the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps (ANZAC) who served and died in military operations. It is commemorated annually on April 25th to honour those who fought at Gallipoli in World War I, as well as those who served in other wars and peacekeeping operations. ANZAC Day services involve dawn vigils, memorial services and marches to honour those who served and died for their country.
