My Norton Internet Security 2012 is expiring next month (year) and so far, I’ve been more
than happy with it.
However, it is not cheap (a $59.99 renewal rate). With money being tight these days, I’m

Are paid anti-virus programs worth it? Do they do a better job at protecting my laptop than free
ones? What are the best free anti-virus programs out there?

Avast and avira are the top antivirus programs which offer great protection. I’d recommend you
to buy norton or kaspersky (sold in cds) from a pc shop at a cheaper rate. You’ll be provided
with a serial on the cd cover and i think, it can be used to renew the license. Norton and

In common windows 7 home premium this software can not work properly. I recommend
windows 7 ultimate for all purpose.

what is the best free anti virus program?
I recently obtained a fraud internet protection software program while browsing the internet
and it wont allow me to open anything. Apps, internet, antivirus. So i rebooted and tried using
“last reliable connection”, that didn’t work. The only thing it did, was give me a small window to
open my anti-virus, Spybot: Search and Destroy. It recognized the problem and fixed it, but then
it came back in a few minutes. How do you suppose i combat this problem? I can access my
google chrome, but that’s about it….
One last thing. The Internet Fraud I am dealing with is called: Win7 Security 2012

win7 security 2012 virus ?
I just encoutered this virus/fake malware bug on my computer, this morning. It must’ve got past
kaspersky IE 2011. I tried to download malwarebytes, which seems to be the fix to this virus, but
it blocked internet access to the infected computer. Would malwarebytes be the best/easiest
way to get rid of this virus? and.. how do i go about transfering a copy of malwarebytes (free
version) onto my flash drive to eventually transfer to infected computer to scan. ** detailed steps
please***
should i scan in safe mode too?

Nancy, the only problem is… the virus blocks me in “safe mode with networking” too!
Anybody have any ideas if the virus is blocking me from internet/downloading in safe mood with
