2. Selecting Problem
Choosing a sample
Selecting or developing instruments
Determining procedures
Collecting and analyzing data
Interpreting results
3. According to Arikunto, Suharsimi, he said that there
are four things that must be required by researcher to
select and determine problem, they are:
The title or the problem has to appropriate with
what the researcher want or researchers’ interest,
The research can be done,
There are several of factors that can support the
process of research,
And the last the result of research must be useful.
4. Sample is a part of population that researched.
And how to determine the sample?, here are
several ways to acquire the sample:
Random Sampling
Representative Sampling
5. Random Sampling
In this technique the researcher selects cases
from a population in a manner that ensures each
member of the population has an equal chance
of being selected into the sample.
6. Representative Sampling
In this technique the researcher selects a sample
in which member are purposely selected to
create a sample that represents the population
on some characteristics of interest
7. Instrument of research is a tool or facility that
used by researcher for collecting data to
make their job more easier and better.
8. Variation of research instruments are :
o questionnaire,
o check list,
o orientation of interview,
o orientation of observation
9. Collecting Data
Collecting data is importance step in research
activity. There are ways to collect data; they
are test, questionnaire, interview,
documentation.
10. Analyzing Data
After collecting data have done, next step, the
researcher has to analyze that data. Generally,
there are three steps to analyze data: preparing,
tabulation, and applying data depend on
approach of research
11. After we gat result of the research, we can
interpret it in our life, as soon as useful.
