1. GUIDELINES FOR VIVA-VOCE PPT PRESENTATION:
FINAL DISSERTATION
• First of all, you must understand that you will not have more than 10 minutes for
presenting the dissertation
• Within this time, you must be able to make an impact on the examiners
• Your presentation should be complete in terms of what your project is all about.
• For this purpose a little preparation is a must. Follow the instructions carefully
and prepare a PPT with about 8-10 slides
STEP 1:
Prepare a chart with the following details:
• Title of the study
• Statement of the problem
• Prepare the following table
OBJECTIVES OF RESEARCH SUMMARY OF CONCLUSION SUGGESTIONS
THE STUDY DESIGN FINDINGS
1. Objective Type of the Cite the major Give major Most important
2. objective study summary of findings conclusions of suggestions – 3-
3. objective (about 5-7) the study – 4 points
4. Research Please note that it has about 4-5
5. Methodology to be the most points
important points
Limitation For example:
a) the Current
Scope ratio is 1.1:1
b) the Debt to
equity ratio is

c) liquidity

d) Dow theory

e) According to
… theory, …

The above table is for your reference. Once this chart is ready, you don’t need to refer
to your project before the viva-voce examination
STEP 2: PREPARATION OF THE PPT
Power point presentations are very important – but not as important as your content.
PPT helps you to recollect what you want to say – don’t over depend on it. Suppose
there is no availability of LCD ( due to some unforeseen reason), do not panic – keep
the chart with you and go ahead with the presentation orally.
