takes a thrilling and at times terrifying journey through the
psyche of a young ballerina whose starring role as the
duplicitous swan queen turns out to be a part for which she
becomes frighteningly perfect.

4. My Sisters Keeper Trailer
In Los Angeles, the eleven year old Anna Fitzgerald seeks
the successful lawyer Campbell Alexander trying to hire him
to earn medical emancipation from her mother Sara that
wants Anna to donate her kidney to her sister. She tells the
lawyer the story of her family after the discovery that her
older sister Kate has had leukemia; how she was conceived
by in vitro fertilization to become a donor; and the medical
procedures she has been submitted since she was five years
old to donate to her sister. Campbell accepts to work pro
bono and the obsessed Sara decides to go to court to force
Anna to help her sister.
5. The voiceover throughout the film explains the narrative
and relationships of the characters so is vital in
understanding the storyline
The montage sequence at the beginning of the trailer sets
the scene for the narrative so we can understand why the
characters are likely to have a difference of opinions and
this is what the film is about
The slow paced music gives the impression it is going to be
an upsetting film and also creates enigma because the
audience want to know what happens to the family in the
end and especially the girl who is ill
Various settings are shown so that we get a stronger idea
of the narrative and they help us to understand the
emotions of the characters e.g. The hospital- sad
We mainly see the situation from Anna’s point of view as
she is the one who wants to put a stop to what is
happening in their family this is done through the use of
camera shots and the voiceover
6. The Hangover Trailer
The official international trailer for the
new comedy film, the Hangover. Set in Las
Vegas centred around three groomsmen
who lose their about-to-be-wed buddy
during their drunken misadventures, then
must retrace their steps in order to find
him.
7. The music at the beginning is happy and quite fast paced
and then it changes and the audience feel a change in the
mood although the comedy genre is still clear
It doesn’t actually show us in any detail what happens on
the night, instead it shows a fast paced montage sequence
with the effect that it is zooming in which gives us a sense
of confusion
All the main characters are established in the trailer along
with the locations used so that the audience get a feel of
what the film is going to be like
The plot of the film is clear, this is useful because as the
audience we then know the genre and ultimately if we
want to watch the film
Through the trailer some extra text comes up to give us
some more information on the film and the narrative
