• Off-page optimization (off-page SEO) is what can be done off the
pages of a website to maximize its performance in search engines
for target keywords related to the on-page content and keywords in
off- page direct-links.

optimization because it gives back links to your sites and it

• PageRank is what Google uses to determine the importance of a
web page. It's one of many factors used to determine which pages
appear in search results.
In Simple words...
• Pagerank is a numeric value of a particular web page in eyes of
Google.
• PageRank was developed by Google founders Larry Page and
Sergey Brin.
• It updates in every 3-4 months.

Backlink
• Backlinks are also known as incoming links, inbound links.
Backlinks are incoming links to a website or web page. In basic
link terminology, a backlink is any link received by a web page or
website from another web page.
• Short Definition- Backlink means a link back to your website from
other website.
Types of Backlink
There are two kinds of backlinks :-
1. Dofollow Backlink and
2. Nofollow Backlink
Dofollow Backlink
• Search engine crawlers crawl the whole content on your webpage
including images, links, keywords etc. Whenever they find a link, if
the link is dofollow link then the crawlers follow the link and land on
other webpage. If you want to get indexed in Google and rank high
on Google then you have to focus on these dofollow backlinks.
• In Simple language Dofollow links will be follow and crawl by
search engine crawlers.
Nofollow Backlink
• Nofollow backlinks are ignored by search engine crawlers.
Whenever you are linking to any website which is not of high value
then use rel="nofollow" attribute in your html of the webpage.
• In Simple way Nofollow links will be not followed but they are crawl
by search engine crawlers.
Inbound Links
• An inbound link (also referred to as a back link) is a hyperlink on a
third-party web page that points to a web page on your site.
Outbound Links
• An outbound-link (OBL) is a link from your website to another
website. Outbound links can add value to your site by providing
useful information to users without you having to create the
content.
Domain Authority (DA)
• Domain authority is a measure of the power of a domain name and
is one of many search engine ranking factors. Domain authority is
based on three factors: Age, Popularity, and Size.
• Domain authority, or domain trust, is important because it will help
new pages of content (including blog posts) get indexed more
quickly and have a better chance of ranking prominently in the
search results.
• It updates every month.
• It is provided by SEOMoz itself.
• You can check DA in Open Site Explorer Or you can add SEO
Toolbar in Your browsers (Firefox or Chrome only).

• If you have to check ranking for US, How you check it?
• Simply go to Google.com
• Search the keyword for which you want to check ranking and edit
the search URL in navigation bar by writing &gl=US
• We can also use a Google global Tool for checking ranking.

  • 17. Backlink • Backlinks are also known as incoming links, inbound links. Backlinks are incoming links to a website or web page. In basic link terminology, a backlink is any link received by a web page or website from another web page. • Short Definition- Backlink means a link back to your website from other website.
  • 18. Types of Backlink There are two kinds of backlinks :- 1. Dofollow Backlink and 2. Nofollow Backlink

Dofollow Backlink • Search engine crawlers crawl the whole content on your webpage including images, links, keywords etc. Whenever they find a link, if the link is dofollow link then the crawlers follow the link and land on other webpage. If you want to get indexed in Google and rank high on Google then you have to focus on these dofollow backlinks. • In Simple language Dofollow links will be follow and crawl by search engine crawlers.
  • 20. Nofollow Backlink • Nofollow backlinks are ignored by search engine crawlers. Whenever you are linking to any website which is not of high value then use rel="nofollow" attribute in your html of the webpage. • In Simple way Nofollow links will be not followed but they are crawl by search engine crawlers.
  • 21. Inbound Links • An inbound link (also referred to as a back link) is a hyperlink on a third-party web page that points to a web page on your site.
  • 22. Outbound Links • An outbound-link (OBL) is a link from your website to another website. Outbound links can add value to your site by providing useful information to users without you having to create the content.
  • 23. Domain Authority (DA) • Domain authority is a measure of the power of a domain name and is one of many search engine ranking factors. Domain authority is based on three factors: Age, Popularity, and Size. • Domain authority, or domain trust, is important because it will help new pages of content (including blog posts) get indexed more quickly and have a better chance of ranking prominently in the search results. • It updates every month. • It is provided by SEOMoz itself. • You can check DA in Open Site Explorer Or you can add SEO Toolbar in Your browsers (Firefox or Chrome only).
  • 24. Ranking • If you have to check ranking for US, How you check it? • Simply go to Google.com • Search the keyword for which you want to check ranking and edit the search URL in navigation bar by writing &gl=US • We can also use a Google global Tool for checking ranking.
