This document discusses the role of professional associations in disseminating innovations. It notes that professional associations seek to further their profession through publications, meetings, professional development, and public policy advocacy. The document suggests that associations can identify innovations, build consensus around them, and help package them to lower barriers for implementation among their memberships.
