2. CASE STUDY - DATABASE SERVICES:
THE PLACENCIA
A Marketing Executive takes monthly trips to his client in
South America—the owner of a new beachfront hotel and
condominium. As he promotes the property to potential
buyers worldwide using a variety of methods, he receives
inquires through the hotel's online form, a general email
used in their advertising and his own business email. In just
a few months, his successful campaign has generated over
300 emails.
As he becomes more involved with the project, it requires
more travel and more responsibilities leaving him less time
to maintain his database. He hires Ruby Bloom to put his
contacts in order.
We are given a temporary password and sort through the
emails. We delete spam, unsolicited ads and duplicate
inquiries. We cross-reference the remaining list with the
executive's associates and hotel staff to clean up the
remaining data.
Now the emails can be entered into Excel for mail-merging
custom letters or to be uploaded into his database
software. That evening, he easily sends out an important
update about the property.
