2. CASE STUDY - EVENT SERVICES
BLACK LAW STUDENTS ASSOCIATION OF
CANADA
A non-profit organization was planning their annual
conference in Montreal for their membership nationwide.
The President of the Association had many responsibilities
in addition to a full-time job, and needed assistance
coordinating the conference. The association hired Special
Forces to handle the registration process and keep their
members and speakers up-to-date.
We developed the registration forms, proofed the speaker
invites and mailed letters to members across Canada.
We requested and tracked speaker presentations and
biographies, while managing the attendee responses with
regular follow up.
Updated rooming lists were forwarded to the hotel and
client regularly. Two weeks before the conference, we
mailed merged and mailed custom confirmations to all
attendees to anticipate any last minute changes.

possibly need! It was a great success!"

POWER OF EXPRESSION ART AUCTION
The founder of Our Image Greeting Cards Inc. and
Executive Producer of the Power of Expression Art Auction.
She was committed to making black artwork accessible in
all forms - from greeting cards to canvas - and was
launching her 5th annual event at the Liberty Grand. Every
year she strived to create an even more impressive event
and recruited other professionals to help generate
interest and sponsors for the event. She hired RubyBloom
to coordinate their Sponsorship and Advertising
component.
We reviewed some of the artists work for inspiration and
interviewed Jacqueline to get a sense of what the ad rate
card should include. We edited some content from her
other marketing materials to describe the event and
created a profile of attendees to educate potential
sponsors.
RubyBloom also created a piece that provided function
with the rates and contact info clearly listed; education for
those unaware of the event; a showcase of one of the
artist's work and beauty in it's layout and simplicity.
Printing the cards on 8 1/2 x 11, full-colour card stock was
an eye-catching leave-behind for potential sponsors. The
advertising rate card became a primary tool for seeking
new contributors.
