Stereotypes
1. Businessman – A businessman is going to be very rich. He will wear the nice suit and
drive the nice cars. He will be very stressed from work but will be rewarded with a nice
paycheck.
2. A rich person – A rich person only cares about himself. He has all the nice things and
lives in a big house.
3. A typical person my age – A typical person my age will either be in college or working.
He will go out and party, so he can fit in. He will be late for classes and not finish work.
4. A poor person - A poor person wears old clothes with holes and dirt. A poor person will
live in a small trailer. He will not have the luxury to take showers and eat food, so he will
have bad hygiene.
5. A smart student – A smart student studies all the time. He has no social life and lives at
the library. He is probably a nerd and not too many friends.
6. A stubborn person – A stubborn person does not want to do anything. He will only do
what he wants to do and nothing else. A stubborn person will not help you do anything
because he only cares about himself.
7. A young mother – A young mother gets very little sleep. She is working to pay off the
bills, while raising a child to the best of her capabilities. She loves her child more than
anything else.
2. 8. An old person – An old person is very wise and is happy. He lived his life and is on
retirement, so he does whatever he wants to do. He loves his family and will go to his
grandchildren’s games and events.
9. A foreigner – A foreigner cannot speak English very well. Depending where he is from,
he may be an illegal immigrant, he may be very rich, or he may be a genius.
10. A stock trader – A stock trader is very organized and likes to take risks. A stock trader is
rich and will do anything to earn more money.
11. A bus driver – A bus driver cares a lot for children. He is a very safe driver and make
sure the kids or adults act properly.
12. A singer – A singer is very attractive and has a very good voice. A singer is really rich
and live in big houses.
