O Cuckoo was written by Benjamin Britten in 1934
when he was only 21 years old.

O Benjamin Britten wrote all ‘The Friday
Afternoon’ songs, that we sang in choir, in
1934 including, ‘I Mun Be Married On
Sunday.’

5. Last Year it was Benjamin Britten's 100th
