Chris Bryant set a SMART goal to improve his speed and fitness by decreasing his mile time over 8 weeks. He tracked his mile times each week and ran frequently, setting a daily time to run. Through dedication to running most days and eating healthier, he was able to decrease his mile time from over 6:30 minutes to achieving his goal of 6:45 minutes after 8 weeks. While some weeks were busier than others, he continued to push himself to accomplish his goal.
