Voice Thread is a collaborative, multimedia slide show that holds images, documents, and
videos. Voice Thread allows people to navigate pages and leave comments in 4 different
ways (voice, text, audio, or video). Slide shows can be shared with others and comments can
be recorded from around the world.
There are two versions of Voice Thread, but Ed.Voicethread is a simple, powerful, and safe
place for students to collaborate on a variety of educational processes. The site is restricted
to K-12 educators and all content is created by registered users. There are two different
educator accounts available.

Getting Registered
1. Open www.ed.voicethread.com in your preferred browser.
2. On the home page, click register.

4. Complete the registration form
5. Select the type of account you are applying for.

6. Complete the information. You must enter all fields. Our school website is

7. You will receive a message informing you that you have successfully applied. Keep your eyes
on your inbox for your confirmation email. Be sure to click the activation link when it arrives.
