Presentation aims to introduce JMS2.0 to people who have a familiarity with JMS already – and show how this has been implemented within WMQ v8.
It introduces some of the features are a new to the MQ v8 Java Implementation as well.

JMS2.0 is still relatively new specification so the aims are to introduce it to people – but also to get some input on business problems solved by these new features.
Will help us optimize the implementation in future releases.
Any new spec has updates; JM2.0 focus on the new features and the new simplified API.
Reduction of number of objects used. Quicker to get to the actually messaging operations
Both Java SE and Java EE – better APIs without transactional arguments – so no longer confusion of creating a session with the transacted arguments
