As the Aztec empire grew overtime it had a similar system like the European system. Where the king or emperor ruled over nobles and priests, and under them were the soldiers and fighters, under them were merchant and tradesman, under them were the laborers and then below them were finally the slaves. A very similar system Europeans had.

School was mandatory till the age of 14. Education is mostly taught by parents by is supervised by authorities of their calpōlli. Atecs had two types of schools, the telpochcalli, for practical and military studies and the calmecac, for advanced learning in writing, astronomy, statesmanship, theology, and other areas. Part of the education though was saying and ideals of the Aztecs to be instilled into the youth.

Aztec’s made human sacrifice because they thought it was necessary to give human blood to the sun god because it was believed the sun needed human nourishment/blood. Thousands of human lives were killed were annually as sacrifice.
5. Technology The Aztecs near had any means of transportation that was used in other parts of the world during that time. Like horses, donkeys, mules or any other animal/beast that would transport trade or goods. They created canoes which they transported to travel, transport goods and use to trade. They travels in lakes, rivers, and canals and waterways throughout Mexico.
6. Calender They have a calendar which was pretty accurate but centered around the sun so it’s considered to be a agricultural calendar. This agricultural calendar was a time-measuring calendar and another one they used was a religious calendar and it was centered around the gods and when they consulted them. In the time-measuring calendar they had 365 days and 18 months while the other one was 260 days. They were also able to foretell eclipses with their calendars.
7. Conclusion In retrospect, the Aztec civilization was advanced in many ways than others. They had medicine that was well regarded and technologic advances that amazed scientist today. Though their religious belief was considered primitive for sacrificing humans for gods. It’s unfortunate some of their culture was lost to Spanish colonization but some of their ways and rituals continue to live today in modern day Mexico. Some Mexicans still celebrate their Aztec ancestry with parades and festivals.
