Onychomadesis is the separation of the nail plate from the nail bed. It can often look like a more
severe case of Beau's Lines, and leaves the nails with a dull appearance. They will also have white

My design was really hard to create. I had to make a hole in the center of the cotton ball, and it took
me awhile to get it right. I wasted about 5 cotton balls trying to make the hole in the center.
Eventually I made it before I got stressed. I also had to cut around the cotton ball to make it thin.

outline the events of Operation Eagle Claw (a rescue mission) the mistakes made, lessons learned,

Operation Eagle Claw is a prime example of a failed mission due to lack of communication and
sharing of knowledge between government agencies and military branches. This operation took five

On 24 April 1980's United States Special Operation forces , along with Joint Task Force 1–79 , led
an operation to save 52 American hostages trapped inside Tehran,Iran known as Operation Eagle
Claw. .The Operation was broken up into two phases. The first phase was to take place in Iran at a
site called Desert One. Desert One was an Airstrip for USAF special operations to use to land
aircraft such as the MC130, AC130H, and the RH53D. The MC130 was a fixed wing aircraft meant
to transport ground forces,the C130H was a gunship for security, and the RH53D was a mine–
sweeper and transported ground forces. The RH53D was flown by United States Marine Corps
aviators from the carrier USS Nimitz. The plan was that these aircraft would fly under radar to
Desert One, the men would offload at the site, The Helicopters would refuel and be concealed at

Operation Eagle Claw required too much detailed integration between multiple military services
without a central leadership. As a result two organizations formed. The first was Joint Special
Operations Command (JSOC) the other is U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM). JSOC

Operation EAGLE CLAW marked the beginning of intelligence as an integral part of Special
Operations. The unsuccessful attempt to rescue hostages at the United States Embassy in Tehran,
Iran, revealed the need for Intelligence integration into the tactical arm of the United States Military.
Intelligence personnel needed training on tactical level clandestine operations and terminology,
extending past the basics of regular warfare. A makeshift organization after Operation EAGLE
CLAW, called the Field Operation Group (FOG), fulfilled that need, and later became the United
States Army Intelligence Support Activities (USAISA). USAISA created the standards for
intelligence Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTP) currently used in support of Special
Operations Forces today. In November 1979, a group on Iranian militants took over the United

FOG addressed the obvious need for intelligence integration into the mission by providing tactical
level collection and analysis. Iranian militants released the hostages prior to the operation. (Brief

higher due to the addition of intelligence. The SOF units would have gained a much clearer picture
