1. Firstly I added my background image which was a
brick wall. I took the image myself and because it was
the background image there was no need to cut
around or edit the image. The only editing which I
done was making the image darker to suit the mood of
the article.
2. I then traced around and cut out the main image which was of a
teacher from the documentary. I then added the cut out image on
top of the brick wall background. I positioned the image on the
left of the page to keep space for the article, the image is also at
an angle which suits the image being on the left of the page.
3. I then added the box at
the top of the page. This
box is going to contain the
title of the documentary.
I edited this box by adding
texture to it. This texture
gave it a distorted look
with lines running
through it. I also added a
stroke effect to create a
border for the box. I used
the colour grey to stick to
colours that would suit the
mood of the documentary
4. I then added the title on top of
the box which I created. The
title was manipulated in a
number of ways to create the
effect that I did. Firstly I
stylized the text with wind
which gave the writing a
distorted look. After this I also
texturized the text and added a
stroke feature to it.
With the combination of these
effects I created a blurred and
distorted text.
5. I then added the two boxes which were going to contain the
article and then the article itself. The boxes used the same
combination of effects as the box at the top of the page which
was texture and stroke effects.
6. I added these plain black boxes
with the intention being that
they would act as borders for
images. I texturized these boxes to
suit the other boxes. I also
used the stoke effect again
to give the boxes a border.
I then finally added the
images of the school on top
of these four boxes.
7. I then added a box towards the bottom of the page. This contained
the date and time of the documentary. This text featured the same
styles as the title E.G texture, stroke
8. I then finally added my institutions logo at the top
left hand corner of the page.
