– As its title shows, this course is an overview of the American
Constitutional History aimed to Law students not familiar with
the American legal system. The course is organized as a
chronological trip from the time of the first colonial
settlement to our days, taking as its milestones constitutional
documents and Supreme Court decisions. Both the documents
and the Court decisions have been chosen among those with a
universal interest. With an OCW use in mind, most of the
chosen bibliography is available on line too.
