Compare And Contrast
1. Compare And Contrast
of
Aladdin and Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves
Aladdin and Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves
have many similarities and differences.I am
comparing these two stories because i want to
explore the similarities and differences more.
The first similarity is that they are both an
Arabian folktale. This means they are both a
story from Arabia.
Another similarity is that there are evil
people. In Aladdin there is Jafar he is trying to
get the lamp and marry Jasmine so he can
become royal. In Ali Baba and the Forty
Thieves there are the forty thieves who steal
things and put them in their cave.
Another similarity is that there is gold coins.
In Aladdin, Aladdin goes in the cave for the
golden lamp and sees a lot of gold. I Ali Baba
and the Forty Thieves, Ali Baba goes into the
cave to see what is in there takes some gold.
The last similarity is that there is a wedding
at the end. In Aladdin, Aladdin and Jasmin get
married. In Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves, Ali
Baba's son and Morgiana get married.
Some differences that these two stories
2. have are in Aladdin they sing. Like when
Jasmine And Aladdin sung. In Ali Baba and the
Forty Thieves they don't.
The second difference is there is no royal
characters mentioned in Ali Baba and the Forty
Thieves. In Aladdin there is Princess Jasmin.
She is a royal person.
Another difference is that Aladdin has
talking animals, like Aboo. In Ali Baba
and the Forty Thieves there are no talking
animals just thieves.
In Aladdin there is a genie. The genie grants
him wishes like to be a prince, so he can marry
Jasmine. In Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves
there is no genie because it is about a greedy
man.
Those were some similarities and some
differences between Ali Baba and the Forty
Thieves and Aladdin. There are many more
similarities and differences. I just thought
these were the most important or the best
similarities and differences. I hope you read it
all there is some cool things in here. Thanks
for reading.
