The document discusses the four seasons - spring, summer, autumn, and winter. It explains that the earth's tilted axis and orbit around the sun cause the seasons, with different hemispheres experiencing warmer and colder temperatures throughout the year. Each season is described in terms of typical months, weather patterns, holidays, and changes in plant and animal life.
2. Why do we have seasons?
• We have seasons because the earth is tilted. It
goes around the sun and sometimes one part of
the earth is tilted more towards the sun making it
hotter (summer). The part that is farther from the
sun experiences winter. So far example, below the
northern hemisphere (us!) are having hotter
temperatures while the southern hemisphere is
having winter.
