Day. This is a national effort to encourage the public to be more
physically fit and to make sure our communities and institutions
provide opportunities to exercise and be active.

                                                                    Are you a busy mom?
                                                                    Your schedule is packed full - between
                                                                    practices, chores and homework, who has the
                                                                    time to work out? YOU DO! Here are the
                                                                    results of a study that show those that did
                                                                    short, consistent bouts of exercise lost more
                                                                    weight. For example you can lose 19 lbs
                                                                    compared to 14 lbs if you work out 20
                                                                    minutes or less. You can consolidate your
                                                                    exercise program by warming up with high
                                                                    energy calisthenics like jump, rope, jumping
                                                                    jacks, running in place and mountain climb-
