The document provides import data for three types of titanium dioxide (rutile, non-pigment, and anatase) imported into China from January to August 2011. It shows the monthly import volumes, prices, and total values for each type and a total across all three types. The import volume of titanium dioxide into China was highest in March 2011 at 28,111 tonnes and lowest in February 2011 at 17,506 tonnes. The average import price of titanium dioxide increased by 21.84% in the first half of 2011 compared to the same period in 2010, which the document attributes to tight global supply and high production costs outside of China.

China imports 22,887 tonnes of TiO2 in June 2011, compared with 22,013 tonnes in May 2011 and 23,156 tonnes in April. At the same time, a slowdown of the
TiO2 average import price increase appears in June, which may be due to weak demand of TiO2 in China.
In the first half of 2011, China totally imports 135,691 tonnes of TiO2, compared with 138,643 tonnes in the first half of 2010. The decrease is primarily due to
the tight supply outside of China and increased output of China's TiO2. Besides, the average TiO2 import price in H1 2011 increases by 21.84% year on year,
caused by tight supply and high production cost of TiO2 outside of China.
