There are four airports in the Philippines. Philippine Airlines, Cebu Pacific, and other airline (KAL,
Asiana, Cathay Pacific, etc.), depending on airport.
Arrival and departure vary depending on the time and destination.

2-5. Immigration procedure
(1) Immigration - written on board disembarkation card, passport and
submitted custom declaration.
(2) When asked for the purpose of your visit, say for Tourism (TOUR)
Have your visa stamped. Make sure that it is signed.
(3) Have your luggage checked
(4) With Customs Declaration, show your luggage ticket to the airport officer and have your luggage
confirmed.
(5) Get out of arrival door (transfer to domestic airport)

2-6. Transfer to domestic airline
You don’t need to transfer to the other airport if you take the same airline(Philippine Airline,
Cebu Pacific) for both international and domestic.
You should transfer to the other airport if you take other airlines except for Philippine Airline
and Cebu Pacific.
How to transfer to the other airport
You can take a coupon taxi in front of the Airport you arrived.
Tell your destination and pay the taxi fare first, then get in the taxi.
Although the fare is a bit more expensive , it is safe even at night..
You can get off after signing on the coupon and leaving a tip(about 20Peso) at the destination.
You should claim checked baggage.
When you arrive in Manila, you should pass through Arrival Immigration, claim checked baggage and clear
customs before you check in again for domestic flight.

1. At the airport for domestic airline, move to Domestic Departure. Go into the airport after passing
through the security check

4. Pass through the security check again and board the aircraft on time at the exact gate.

Following rules can be changed by local conditions. Please keep the rules for your
effective study and do not be rude to Philippine staff, managers and tutors.

Registration Policy

refund rule
if you want to cancel your registration it can’t be refunded under any circumstances.
Refund target 'tuition' and 'dormitory' is limited to the 'total cost of training ". In
addition, SSP Fee, such as pick up fee is not subject to refund.
if you want to cancel before entering into the school, school fee can be refunded.
Cancellation fee of the flight ticket etc. is free of charge.
in any case, refunds and make up classes are not given if the student's arrival from
Korea is late or if he is absent during the time of training.
if you are expelled after entering the school or you cancelled your stay, you must
submit a written request to get a refund.
refund ranges are defined as follows:
1).immediately after arrival - refund exclusive of 4 weeks boarding expenses.
2)under 10% on the time of training - refund 70% of balance for a charge of
training.
3)10~29% on the time of training - refund 50% of balance for a charge of training.
4)30~40% on the time of training - refund 30% of balance for a charge of training.
5) when more than 50% to the time of training - no refund.
The time of refund - you can receive within 30 days from submission of a
completed application form and will be sent into your bank account.
(Application form of refund can be completed in the school office.)
extension For the extension of the class you must give a minimum 4 weeks of notice.
rights &
responsibility
If contract about the service isn’t provided due to business trouble, delay,
cancellation, and irresistible reasons on your part, MK isn’t liable for anything.
MK advises the students to take care of their personal belongings as well as the
school properties. MK is not liable for any damage or loss.
MK prices can fluctuate because of raise in exchanging rates, a tax hike , governme
nt policy, etc that MK can’t control.
MK has the right to vary the terms of the contract about starting date of lectures, c
urriculum and program anytime.
MK can give a warning to students for breaking the rules or regulations and MK has
the right to expel you if you still don't follow despite numerous times of warning.
If you have any physical discomfort, allergies or sickness, come to the office and
inform the staff that you will be absent in your classes. if you don't, MK is not liable
for any serious results due to any of these situations.
If the student gets expelled from MK, the school has to inform the student's parents
, guardian, or sponsor. MK also has to notify the student that he has been expelled
from the school.

Dormitory Policy

You have to pay for room deposit of $100 in the school.
Room deposit is refundable in full if there is no problem with the room.
MK has the right to charge the students if he/she damaged the school dormitory
or facilities on purpose.
You can not change the furniture around your room.
If you lost room key there will be fined 150peso.
Room change
You can not change your room after entering the school. But you can up grade it if
you wish to. (ex. triple room → double room)
out and curfew
You can not go out from Monday to Thursday; the time in between classes is
excluded.
If it is necessary, you need to fill out the application for permission.
Night time check - on Sunday 10 PM in study room or student’s room. Failure to
have your attendance checked will be given corresponding penalty.
visit
The visiting time - 9 AM ~6 PM. Other people can not go into the room except for
your parents. Please keep the policy to avoid theft and accidents.
Areas for each gender are strictly divided. If break the rule, You can be warned or
expelled. (Except for married couples and families)
Laundry
Deposit is on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. laundry can be claimed at the
reserved area. Claiming time is the same as to deposit time. MK is not responsible
for the lost and damage of your laundry.
room make-up
Room make-up is on the 3rd of every week. (When you want to make up it’s possible i
n Iloilo campus.) Bed sheet is changed once a week.
electricity Electricity charge and a number of people of room will be charged separately.
personal items
If personal items are robbed it should be your first responsibility and you should
be more careful with your belongings. You can request the manager for safe
keeping. It’s for free.

Class Policy

Start of each class is based every hour.
Duration of classes is only 50 minutes and a 10 minute break time.
Studying with the same teacher for man to man classes is strictly not allowed.
Student must sign the attendance slip to the respective teacher at the end of the
class.
Relievers will be given if the teacher is absent due to an emergency situation, but no
relievers will be given if the student is absent without any valid reasons.

The student is considered absent after 15 minutes.
Relievers will be given if the teacher is absent due to an emergency situation.
If the student wishes, a make up class shall be given.
No relievers will be given if the student is absent without any valid reasons.
self study
self study is from MON~THU at 20:00 to 22:00 in each study room. please sign the
daily record.
It is possible to check attendance unexpectedly once more after 21:00. If you don’t sign
the daily record, Orange Smile Card will not be issued by the rule (same as absence and
tardiness)
Change programs
program and class can change if needed.
the student can not change the class only after 1~2 times of class.
If there is price difference between programs, the students should pay for it.
holidays
MK Education strictly follows the Philippine holidays. (notice before a week.)
There is no make up class for the public holidays.
Classes are still proceeding on Korean holidays.
certificate
certificate is not given if the student doesn’t supply minimum attendance(90%) and
doesn’t finish course.
exam
the student will take a level test.
MK has monthly exam to gauge the improvement and level of the student.
the student can not be excused from not taking the school exam.
Change tutors
changing teacher must be made in writing.
changing teachers is possible once a week, it must be at least after 1 week from
taking class.
Students can change teacher one more time after 2weeks of class with the teacher.
Students must not change teacher without approval from MK.
the school has to assign new teacher next Monday after the student submit an
application.
the school can change class of the student if student’s standard show a marked
different from others.
students can not claim any monetary reward about changing of class.
