3. Mas mais tarde…… Mas mais tarde em 2008, o pai e a mãe viram que a final, Miley não dava coisas assim tão boas, por isso decidiram mudar-lhe o nome radicalmente. Mas não sabiam que nome lhe dariam, e aí Miley comentou que o pai lhe chamava sempre smiley (sorriso em Inglês) por causa que ela andava sempre a sorrir. E para homenagear o pai decidiu ter o nome de Miley.

A sua carreira Miley começou a sua carreira em 2004/2005quando fez uma audição para o papel de uma "melhor amiga" em um seriado da Disney Channel sobre uma "pop starsecreta“, mas os jurados decidiram que ela não era ideal para este papel porque era muito jovem. Miley ficou triste mas não desistiu e voltou a ir mais tarde para fazer o papel principal que se chamava Zoe Stewart. Aí Miley consegue o papel e a partir daí o nome da personagem mudou para Miley Stewart. E é nessa personagem que ela muda de identidade para Hannah Montana.
