2. Actuality The Republic of Kazakhstan has one of the world’s largest gaps in life expectancy - Life expectancy at birth 67.0 (2011). In 2010 proportion of older people aged over 65 is 7.5% of the total population. Experts predict that Kazakhstan population of aged 65+ will increase to 11.5% in the proportion of older people by 2030. In this situation will we be ready to provide older people with social support?
3. Aral Sea disasters Experts believe that the ecological disaster has displaced more than 100,000 people and affected the health of more than 5 million people throughout the region There has been a dramatic spike in anaemia, brucellosis, bronchial asthma, typhoid - at approximately eight times the national average, and in tuberculosis (Conant 2006). The influence of climate change on health indicates the necessity to initiate actions on mitigation and adaptation.
