Team Leader: Megha A S Name of the Project : Youth for Youth Karnataka University Country : India
Youth are back bone to the nation. They can change the future of the society with their well being and courageous behavior. They are here to show that which we have not been willing to look at within ourselves.Unfortunately today we find the youth those who are more interested in other places which are not useful to them as well as nation. They chooses to spend their days doing drugs and playing video games. they spends their nights partying and living it up, so to speak. More and more young men of this age group are sitting at home in front of their televisions playing games all day instead of bettering themselves or going to work. They have no vision and if they do have dreams they do not have the drive to make any attempt at achieving them. We must get control of this. We must motivate our youth. We must teach responsibility and goal setting. I fear if we do not we will soon be supporting an entire generation of homeless and needlessly on welfare families. Things have to change, with our schools, with the older generation being good role models, with the older generation being mentors, and with the youth who are right now doing nothing. Those of you are in age of teen, You have a choice. You can allow yourselves to stay your course and do nothing or you can rise above what the cynics around you expect and go get educated or get jobs. Show the older generation they are wrong about you. Let them know you have intelligence and skills. Show yourself what you are made of. You might be surprised at how proud of yourself you become with even the smallest of accomplishments. I can tell you that nothing can happen if you do not try, bad or good. You will not become rich overnight either way but at least if you make an effort, then you have begun your journey to your dreams..
Youth is the one who can change the world.. In today's world one can learn anything at any age... Every youth should fight against the crimes n criminals and they should be punished Youth are the future of a country. Any idea of national development is just a myth without the active participation of youth in it. National development is like a relay race. We have dreams, passion and hopes. We are impatient and dynamic but our bubbling enthusiasm has to be regulated and utilized. Our surplus power has to be exploited for the welfare of the world. Proper guidance and direction can bring youth in the forefront of national development. The government of India has been rather slow to recognize the role of youth in national development. Even the state government and voluntary organizations have not been much difficult. No doubt, the N.C.C and N.S.S provide a useful platform. They train the youth of country to be dedicated volunteer in natural calamities and in war. They have proved their worth in running relief works in the earthquake affected areas in Gujrat,N.S.S units have successfully utilized the youth power for national development. Be it growing more trees or keeping the environment clean or adult, literacy programmes, the youth N.S.S volunteers have done a wonderful job. So join such groups. Always the youth should be engaged in constructive and gainful works. We shouldn't let our energy go waste. Let us channelise for national development.
between the age of 15 to 35 are considered as the youth. These comprise students, employees, workers, farmers and persons from various professions including the unemployed—educated or otherwise. These young people constitute a large force. They are energetic, enthusiastic and full of zeal. Unfortunately a large number of them are without any direction.   It is dangerous to allow them to remain idle, as it would increase their frustration.   A large number of them are capable, devoted, dedicated idealists and are fond of work. Their frustration is a result of their being without any worthwhile job.   It is a great national wastage if these energetic hands and brains are not provided with some sort of work to meet the needs of the nation.   No Country can permit such wastage. What is needed is that they  should be taken into confidence  and given a direction—some constructive work. This massive manpower can do wonders provided its enthusiasm is harnessed for development work. Youth have never lagged behind when called upon to meet a challenge. It is for the national leaders to play their part  by mobilizing their abilities and providing them with a direction.
Let there be no doubt about the strength, power and capability of youth. Their counterparts have changed the governments in their own countries. It was the youth of Indonesia who overthrew President Soekarno. The massive youth movement in Czechoslovakia succeeded against the military invasion on their country. Even in India before partition the youth played a very inspiring role in the freedom movement. After independence too their power has changed the fate of several state governments in the recent past. The Gujarat and Bihar agitations are examples of the youth power. We the youth are called the real manpower of the nation. The task of nation building is enormous and can be divided into many phases and compartments. We all youths can be involved in this work. Each youth can be assigned jobs according to their capacity and capability. We should work hard for its fulfillment. We have the resources, guts and imagination to explain it to the people in detail and make it a success, We will feel more than satisfied by the realization that we have been assigned a role in the nation-building efforts. This realization will encourage us to put our best into it.
Our government spends a large amount of money on a number of organizations that are given charge of implementation of various schemes and programmes concerning national development. Involvement of the youth and their organizations would cost less in terms of money as well. The young people may be inspired and encouraged to adopt villages or other suitable units of operation, where they may concentrate on the improvement of physical and social environment. This will lead to socio-economic progress and help to canalize the energies, enthusiasm and idealism of the youth in the task of nation-building. It is certain that the youth will make full use of the diverse opportunities offered to them. If would make the task of nation-building easier and quicker.

Children live and work on the street because their parents are poor, they are orphans, or they have run away from home, often to escape abuse. They are invariably malnourished, receive scant education and medical treatment, and are involved in child labour from an early age. Child prostitution, sexual abuse and drug addictions are also major problems faced. Despite being citizens of the country, these children live in a different world than the children of the emerging middle class. They represent one of the neediest peoples on the planet. As “ Poverty is a bag with a hole at the bottom. “ These children are the future youths they should come out of such situations n have hopes in life to live n achieve something and help other children to come out of such situations.
to inspire and enable all young people especially those who need us most to reach their full potential as productive, caring responsible citizens.

  • 4.   between the age of 15 to 35 are considered as the youth.

  • 9. to inspire and enable all young people especially those who need us most to reach their full potential as productive, caring responsible citizens.
