This week labor leaders have gathered in Houston to discuss and plan their strategy for the year. However, much of the discussion will undoubtedly be on the topic of workers in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Last week, workers in Tennessee rejected the call from the United Auto Workers to organize under the union at a Volkswagen plant in Chattanooga. Union leaders have been furious with an anti-union campaign led by Tennessee Republican Senator Bob Corker, other Republicans from the state, and conservative lobbyist.
