  6. Who you are online should be a reflection of who you are to the world… especially in your CF role.
  7. Purpose – why are you going to use it? You can have multiple reasons, but decide on your purpose for how you will USE it. Be consistent – doesn’t mean you have to post a certain number of times per day, but also don’t go weeks without activity.
  8. I’m also really big on being positive. I know we aren’t always positive and certainly our work can be negative… but I really do try. Yes, I do complain about Mediacom and I think there are good reasons to engage with companies about customer service, etc. But griping about work, oddly personal messages, etc, reflects on who you are.
  9. Social media is your Swiss army knife. Multi-faceted, lots of tools… can be super useful and really helpful, sometimes things get sharp, so be careful.
