- In our previous session you were introduced to the wonderful world of specifications, and we completed Task 1: Key features of specification sheetsIn this session we will be completing task 2: Measuring points, Measuring and Trade sketching (includes garment measurement revision). The skill of being able to accurate measure a garment has been become extremely critical in the past few years, especially since many of our products are manufactured offshore!www.FashionMentorOnline.comwww.FashionMentorOnline.com
- Just a little reminder!There are as many different styles of specification sheets as there are apparel companies. For the purpose of simplicity and uniformity, we will all be using templates [you may design your own, for your final project]as the accuracy in specifications and correct garment measuring is integral to achieving the quality standards specified within the apparel industry, you may find that they are repeated in your units!
