                                             The Friends of Hawaii Charities (Friends), a 501(c)(3), was formed
River of Life Mission                        in 1998 as a result of the shared vision and collaboration of a group
                                             of Hawaii business and community leaders to generate needed
                                             funding for Hawaii’s charitable organizations that benefit women,
                                             children, youth, elderly, those with special needs, and the
                                             impoverished.

                                             The Friends’ principal fundraising event is the Sony Open in Hawaii
                                             PGA TOUR golf tournament held at Waialae Country Club each
                                             January. Through a charity partnership with The Harry & Jeanette
                                             Weinberg Foundation, the Friends have generated more than $12
                                             million over the past 14 years benefiting over 350 Hawai‘i charities.

                                             Friends of Hawaii Charities activates financial resources from the
                                             private sector and spirited volunteerism from the community, in
                                             concert with the extraordinary natural resources of the state, to
                                             produce sports and cultural events that generate funds for qualifying
                                             not-for-profit endeavors in Hawaii benefiting its women, children,
                                             youth, and needy, primarily in the areas of intervention, health, and
                                             education.

CHARITY SPONSOR The Friends of Hawaii Charities (Friends), a 501(c)(3), was formed River of Life Mission in 1998 as a result of the shared vision and collaboration of a group of Hawaii business and community leaders to generate needed funding for Hawaii’s charitable organizations that benefit women, children, youth, elderly, those with special needs, and the impoverished. The Friends’ principal fundraising event is the Sony Open in Hawaii PGA TOUR golf tournament held at Waialae Country Club each January. Through a charity partnership with The Harry & Jeanette Weinberg Foundation, the Friends have generated more than $12 million over the past 14 years benefiting over 350 Hawai‘i charities. Hawai‘i Meals on Wheels Mission Friends of Hawaii Charities activates financial resources from the private sector and spirited volunteerism from the community, in concert with the extraordinary natural resources of the state, to produce sports and cultural events that generate funds for qualifying not-for-profit endeavors in Hawaii benefiting its women, children, youth, and needy, primarily in the areas of intervention, health, and education.
