Working with feeder schools – Year 9/10 sessions, marketing, ILT discussions,
Academy developments, specialist schools, open days and evenings (out in
the Schools or Departments)
Ensuring that IAG and Admissions & Enrolments know of ‘offer’
Understanding the local strategic plan for business
Knowledge of the WBL agenda and workforce needs
INITIAL ASSESSMENT
Instrumental in BKSB online assessments
Developing knowledge of Functional Skills and support for tutors
Providing study guides and resources for learners to support FS
INDUCTION
Information on LR services available through introductory letter sent to
students or available on the induction web pages
Provide a comprehensive LR induction
Understand and encourage development of the tutorial induction process
Extend the reach of the LR induction – not a one-hit wonder!

8. PLANNING AND RESOURCES
Get fully involved with curriculum planning at EVERY stage
Lead from the front with the development of eLearning materials
Work on and with the ILT team
Explore and assess resources – VLE, e-Readers, online, books
Seek out and champion the latest resources and delivery methods
TEACHING AND LEARNING
Provide enrichment activities
Support Theme Weeks and Tutorial Times, Learning at Work day
Get involved with Equality & Diversity and Safeguarding committees
Develop online solutions
CURRICULUM GOOD PRACTICE
Be at the heart of CPD and Quality programmes and processes
Seek out opportunities to share your expertise and collaborate with others
Demonstrate difference – support ILT projects and ensure LR focus
