2. THE CLASSROOM LINKED LECTURE CAPTURE - is a solution that captures classroom-based activities in a digital format that is then available for download or consumption over the internet. It allows synchronous recording with asynchronous viewing of the captured lecture by students. VIDEO CONFERENCING - A video conference is an interactive meeting between two or more locations facilitated by simultaneous two-way video and audio transmissions. It allows synchronous viewing and interaction. LINKED CLASSROOM – the concept of a linked classroom is to create a ‘virtual’ large lecture through using streaming of video and audio content between satellite physical classrooms. As such it can be seen as a merging of both the notion of Lecture Capture as well as Video Conferencing.
