Microsoft System Center Operations Manager (OpsMgr) to include the complete
XenDesktop Through its partnership with Citrix, ComTrade is now offering a 60 day free

•  In phase 1 of this collaboration, Cisco will reference sell NetScaler to Cisco customers
looking for a best-in-class Application Delivery Controller (ADC).
•  This will include the high-performance NetScaler MPX, software-based NetScaler VPX
virtual appliances, and multi-tenant NetScaler SDX platforms.
•  We will also provide Cisco Validated Designs (CVDs) that include NetScaler solutions,
and undertake joint interoperability engineering and go-to-market efforts with Citrix.
Subsequent phases may result in deeper integration resulting in an even more seamless
customer experience.

HDX stands for high definition experience which is a set of technologies that ensures the
best performance and user experience.
•  Now in terms of HDX Mobile we are talking about things like high-def video on any
device even over a 3G network, plus dramatic increases in bandwidth efficiency.
•  We are also talking about a dynamic user experience on a mobile device. In real time we
adjust the user experience from a default Windows look and feel to an experience that is
specific to the device type. That also means that the touch and feel adapts as well.
Things like smooth scrolling, more natural gesturing and popup keyboard controls in a
more intuitive manner. Plus more native functions that are built into the device itself.
Things like location services and cameras.

•  What is also great is that we have built a mobile SDK for Windows Apps.
•  This allows any customer, partner or ISV to leverage the mobile SDK to make any
Windows app touch-friendly and ready for mobile.

•  The same experience can apply to smartphones. This is an electronic medical record
app.
•  On the left is a traditional Windows experience. This look and feel works well on a PC or
Mac but not as great on a smartphone.
•  Now compare this to the experience on the right where it has been customized to adapt
to the mobile device. Much easier to navigate and the look and feel is optimized.
•  So again, any customer or partner can leverage this mobile SDK to make any app
mobile ready.
