The Maple Leaf Housing Centre provided assistance to post-disaster housing reconstruction efforts in Indonesia following seminars on wood-frame construction technologies in Jakarta and Banda Aceh. They met with government agencies and communities to discuss housing needs and signed an agreement to provide technical training. In cooperation with project partners, they developed a training program delivered in Indonesia on wood-frame construction. Additional support included tools, site layout, and foundation recommendations to Save the Children. A train-the-trainer program was delivered to local participants. The organizations were proud to participate in the reconstruction efforts to provide long-term, safe, and affordable housing solutions.
