1. Save Our Friends! , 2009 Mixed media Ever wonder what you can do to help out endangered animals? Take a closer look at the flags or pages in this book—they illustrate actions needed to aid and protect creatures from extinction. When the book is opened, the flags align alternately by rows. Each student researched the threats facing an endangered animal and formulated a solution, along with a drawing. These pages will inspire you to find out the positive impact that human behaviors, actions, and attitudes can have on saving animals in peril.
