Eris , goddess of discord (disagreement) wasn’t invited to the feast. HERA:  wife of zeus Goddess of marriage and women ATHENE:  Zeus’ Daughter Goddess of wisdom, warfare and crafts APHRODITE:  daughter-in-law of Zeus   Goddess of LOVE Zeus says, “Nuh-uh.” He’s not going  to choose. ROYAL RUMBLE: Who will receive the GOLDEN APPLE? LET’s ASK ZEUS… HE’ll know, right? So to get back at the gods, she rolls a golden apple into the feast. He  tells the three Goddesses to seek the help of  Prince Paris of Troy.
HERA ATHENE APHRODITE Ruler of Europe and Asia Lead the Trojans to victory against the Greeks Love of the most beautiful woman in the world. Instead of having Prince Paris be  FAIR , they bribe him. AND THE WINNER IS…. APHRODITE
So who is the The most Beautiful  Woman in the World???
Needs to find a suitor for….
Is worried that when so  many suitors are turned down, they will be angry and start wars. Ulysses has a  cunning  plan. He tells King Tyndareus to make every suitor swear to protect Helen and her chosen husband. As a reward, Ulysses asks for the King’s other daughter, Penelope
CHOOSES… APHRODITE Love of the most beautiful woman in the world.
Aprodite makes Helen fall in love. AND While Menelaus is away, he elopes with Helen. APHRODITE King Menelaus called  all of the suitors back  to get Helen back  from TROY.
The suitors are OBLIGATED to protect Helen  and the chosen husband  because they  PROMISED   Helen’s father
