2. Next place yourself in Anne’s shoes. Have your family move somewhere into hiding; the
location has a maximum of 3 rooms (besides the bathroom). Explain why you’ve been forced to hide,
where you’ve chosen your location, and how you will get supplies. You need to include family friends
or someone from your neighborhood in your hiding place. Determine who your “helpers” will be and
how you will make contact with them. Finally, determine the following questions:
• What difficulties would you encounter living in such close quarters with your family?
• What difficulties would you encounter living with the others (neighbor or friend)?
• Do you think there would be any unforeseen conflicts after you’ve been there for a while?
Explain.
• If there was a slim chance of escape outside, would you leave your hiding place? Would you
do this alone or with the others? Why?
Complete this in the form of your choosing (written paragraphs, created diorama, graphic organizer,
timeline, etc) and present it to the class. You will be graded with the following rubric.
80 pts total 20- 16 pts. 15 - 11 pts. 10 - 6 pts. 5 - 0 pts.
