1. We’re on to the penul-mate day of Will’s Bachelor Challenge! Last -me, Will said goodbye to Lilah Whedon, the only contestant
who had failed to get crush hearts or even make friends with him. Blame it on the incompa-ble zodiacs.

2. “Ready to start watching the fiEh day?” Lily asked.

3. “I am.” Sabriel didn’t look at her.
“Where’s Arthur?”

4. “Goofing off with the gypsy matchmaker. He’s gone and decided that everyone needs to have a date for the post‐challenge party.”

5. “Well, that’s not such a bad—“
“Everyone. Including me.”
“Really?” Usually, Arthur wasn’t like that.

6. “Yes. I keep telling him that I don’t want a date and I’m not like him, but he keeps insis-ng in this really nicey‐nice way that I can’t
decide I don’t want a date if I’ve never had one.” It sounded like she hadn’t expected it, either.

7. Lily sat down next to Sabriel. “You really never have dated anyone, have you?”
“No. Well, dates aren’t available, but I’ve never done anything more than look at someone to see if he or she might be hot. They
never are. And aside from a random want to kiss someone when I first became an adult, I haven’t cared.”

8. “You sDll might want to be with someone at some point,” Lily suggested.
“No. I don’t. I’d rather manage everyone else’s roman-c lives than have one of my own. So can we talk about Will and his da-ng
life instead of mine?”

9. “Sure.” Lily might have to talk with everyone later, but it would probably be a beSer idea to go forward with the fiEh day of the
challenge. “Want me to go get Arthur?”
“If you want. I’m not going to.”

10. Now that it was Day 5, everyone got to be in the hot tub. Elaine and Lulu engaged in a splashing war while Will and Sara talked
about Faye.

11. Will brought up the subject of how hot Faye had been.

12. Arthur shook his head. “That’s…that’s a really bad idea.”
“Even I know that,” Sabriel answered.

13. Luckily, they all agreed with him.

14. Aside from Faye, Will had a serious ques-on for everyone:
“In the last two days, two people have told me that they didn’t want to be here. So—do the rest of you want to be here? If not,
we don’t have to go through this.”

15. Lulu broke the silence: “Have I ever acted like I didn’t want to be here?”
“Well, maybe—” Will started.
“Maybe the first day. The first day is always a mess. But—you don’t even know how much I want to be here now.”

16. “And you know that I want to win this challenge,” Elaine said. “I haven’t ever shown any sign that I don’t want to win.”

17. “Me too,” Sara chimed in. “As much as I like playing catch with all of you, I want to win if I s-ll can.”

18. “Great!” Will smiled. “Glad to know that.”

19. Sara broke the silence. “So, who’s looking forward to kissing aEer this?”

of his tricks.

23. But Sara and Elaine are definitely going to put up a fight on this hand.

to tell me not to go with Marielle. I know I didn’t want to hear it, but now, it’s geKng harder to choose.

28. The harem idea was temp-ng, especially because it was -me to kiss everyone.

29. But Will knew that Elaine, at least, was not the kind of Romance Sim who would go for being part of a harem.

Lulu looked like she was thinking about how she didn’t stalk Will enough.

42. In a follow‐up to Will’s statement about the importance of books over dinner the previous night, Will, Lulu, and Sara had started
an impromptu book club in the foyer that morning.

52. Elaine accepted her caress.

53. There was also groping. It is a good thing that Elaine’s brothers did not get invita-ons to the observa-on house.

54. Finally, Will sang a love song.

55. Elaine thought it was adorable.

56. Lulu accepted her caress, but the accompanying sweatdrops are a bit confusing.

57. They were having a surprising amount of fun holding hands.

58. Maybe it was because Will was looking forward to the groping.

59. Lack of outgoing points aside, Lulu seemed to get a kick out of it.

60. AEer the morning flirts, the bacheloreSes went their separate ways. Lulu went to get some food from the buffet.

61. Sara rocked out on the karaoke machine.

62. And Elaine played poker against herself.

63. When Will came downstairs, he joined Lulu at the table. “How are you doing?” he asked.
“Am I going home?”

64. “No,” Will told her.
“So—” What was going to happen on the last day of the compe--on? Was there really any chance that Will would choose her
over Elaine? Even if he did, would it ever work?

65. “I like you a lot, Lulu.” Will smiled. “I’m going to give you some advice that I have a lot of trouble taking back home: You don’t
have to worry.”

66. Predictably, when Sara entered the room, the conversa-on turned to sports.

67. Because Sara hadn’t officially bowed out of the compe--on like Faye and Lilah had, they held the formal elimina-on in the foyer
again.
“I’m sorry. I’m going to miss you,” Will said. “You sure you’re going to be okay?”
