Typical features of a conference:
 A conference has a program committee
 A committee publishes a call for papers and selects papers
 Participants have first interaction at the conference
 Program is fixed
 Sessions are mainly monologues
(often time restrictions do not allow questions at the end)
 Content is documented in printed or digital proceedings
 Dialog after conference is not facilitated
 Often the coffee breaks are the best
opportunity for knowledge flow
