This presentation provides a brief overview of the Minuteman Library Network's Digital Media Catalog and OverDrive audiobook/eBook service. Special emphasis is given to the steps necessary to downloading an audiobook on a PC.
13. Example: To download the OverDrive Media Console, click on the link (see arrow).
14. Choose the version that is appropriate for your computer (most likely one of the two Desktop Client options), and then click the “Download Now” button.
16. The OverDrive Media Console installer will start to download onto your computer. Once it is finished, double-click on the installer icon that appears on the desktop and follow the prompts.

18. Type the title into the Quick Search box and click “Go”.
23. Audiobook is now ready to download. Click the “Download” button.
24. If you have already downloaded the OverDrive Media Console, choose to open the audiobook with it and click “OK”. If not, click “Cancel” and first download the OverDrive Media Console.
25. This prompt asks where you would like to save the audiobook files. Click “Browse” and choose to save the files to the Desktop.
26. If you would like to download the entire audiobook, leave all of the parts checked. If you would like to download only certain sections, check only those boxes you wish to download.
27. You will now see the selected parts begin to download. You may note the progress of the download at the bottom of the window (see arrows).
