2. Introduction
The program will establish an
information web portal, translated into
all Lower Mekong languages and
focused on grassroots stakeholder
concerns and social equity. This will
improve the accessibility and sharing
of information on this topic across the
Lower Mekong region and
internationally.
3. How the Equity Portal works
Each CSO user account is under the
Green Mekong project group. Your role is
specifically to upload related contents to
Green Mekong. Each country has its
own page. This page is dynamically
updated everytime you post a content.
So, there is no need to manage the
page. The system determines where to
post your content based on the language
you will select when submitting a content
i.e. a news content from Viet Nam will be
posted on the Viet Nam page.
5. Step 1 Registration
All training accounts have been pre-
registered for this training activity. You
will be given your account details at
the start of the training.

7. Step 2 Log in
Visit the training site:
recoftc.opendream.in.th > click
About Us > select Regional Projects >
click GREEN Mekong
On the GREEN Mekong menu >
select Equity Portal > Log in
Enter your username and password
11. Step 3 Upload content
All content types available for Green
Mekong contain more or less the
same fields.
Important field: the ‘Green Mekong
Language’ You must select the
language where you want your post to
appear or your post will land on
another page e.g. if you’re a CSO
from Viet Nam, select Vietnamese in
the dropdown.
12. Form fields
Form Fields Description
Cover header image, appears on top of the page, need to resize the photo to fit into the header placeholder
Title title of the content
Subtitle subtitle of the content
Body details about the content (can input photos, table, etc.), user can also input body summary
File downloadable file associated with the content
Language general website languange (used in translations)
Download cover thumbnail image that appears beside the downloadable file
No. of pages number of pages of the file or PDF
Type (depend on content) type of news, training material, event and report
Related content web pages which contain related contents, appears on the sidebar
Featured content manually input related contents, appears on the sidebar
Highlighted content web pages related to the content which a user would like to highlight, appears on the sidebar
Donor related donor to the content
Green Mekong language language use to upload the content, appears on the respective language page

14. Procedure
Once you are logged in, click Dashboard > under
Add new content > select content type
After you select a content type, a form will be
displayed. Fill in all the applicable fields.
After filling in all the necessary fields, click
Preview if you would like to see what it looks like
or Save to submit for publishing. If you select
Preview, then it will be displayed at the top most
part of the form.
After saving, your content will go to the account
of the Green Mekong Administrator. You can only
view your post after approval. To view your post
live: on the Green Mekong website, click Equity
Portal; or Equity Portal > your language page.
