Risk Assessment
1. Risk Assessment
Risk
Location Responsibility How to
overcome/prevent
Injuries
All Mine/actors It is my responsibility
to make sure none of
my actors, including
myself, are not injured
during the filming.
Injuries could include
bruises, cuts, bumps
and physical punches
(during a certain scene
of my video).
Inconvenience of
time
All Mine/actors It is also my
responsibility to choose
times that do not clash
with my other actors
personal activities so
that we can film scenes
for the video.
Weather
Outside N/A While this is something
that I have no control
over, I also have to
choose days in which
the weather is suitable
for recording when
doing outside scenes, I
can assure this by
checking weather
reports for the destined
days.
Damage to
equipment
All Mine One of my main
responsibilities is to
make sure that none of
my equipment gets
damaged; this includes
camera equipment,
props and costume.
Looking after the
equipment and using it
appropriately can
prevent this.
2. Trip/fall hazard
Outside Mine/actors As the filming will
require some running
during the outside
scenes, there is always
the chance that either
me or my actors could
trip and damage
ourselves or our
equipment including
recording gear,
costumes and props. To
ensure this does not
happen, I will make
sure to be careful when
handling the equipment
and not overworking
myself or the actors.
Insufficient space
on SD card
All Mine When filming my
footage it is my job to
make sure that there is
always space on the SD
card and that no
footage will be lost due
to the lack of space. I
can do this by moving
the footage from the SD
card to my computer or
external HDD for
safekeeping.
Low battery on
camera
All Mine It is also my
responsibility to make
sure that the camera’s
battery is fully charged
whenever we decide to
go out and film. I can do
this by making sure that
I charge the camera the
night before and after a
shoot.
Inaccessibility of
shooting locations
All Mine Since the main
proportion of my video
will be shot outside
there is always the
possibility that the
locations could be
unavailable, due to
being populated with
other people or locked.
