The font of the masthead of this page is an ‘Iron Maiden’ font, making the masthead be associated with metal/rock music My audience will be attracted to the dark colours Slogan appeals to my audience as the word noise can be associated with the type of music My audience will be attracted to the cover lines as they are metal and rock bands Images like this appeal to my audience as there is a person playing on a type of guitar metal/rock musicians use and also the person has long hair and a cap that a lot of teenagers associated with this stereotype wear today Pull quotes from metal/rock musicians make my audience want to read on into the magazine about these artists

The Cover line appeals to my audience as the colours and design of it is dark and bold making it stand out to my audience The pull quote draws the audience in as the use of the words ‘Craziest’ and ‘S**t’ are common to my audience The text appeals as it is an interview with a member of a popular heavy metal band This image appeals to my audience as the person and expression link in with my audiences stereotype The text is from a band member letting the audience know about his person life
  • 31. Q6) What have you learnt about technologies from the process of constructing this product? Photoshop tools- The main program I used to design and edit my product was Adobe Photoshop. Here are some of the tools I used: Eyedropper tool - Free transform/ - Transform Lasso tools - Magic wand/ Quick selection- Paint Bucket tool-
