Starting from the school days, Jessica Kahal has been the part of every music festival, band and choir. Being a talented and active member of the music events and activities in her school, she has been awarded with Most Improved Advanced Orchestra in 2001. She has actively participated in High School Musicals (Pit Orchestra), Bye Bye Birdie in 2002, Fame! in 2002, and West Side Story in 2003. With her talent of performing best in plenty of musical activities and bands, she also got the chance to be a part of California State University Long beach Concert Band in 2003.

Jessica Kahal was an enthusiastic band
member with great experience of playing
many instruments. Since childhood, Jessica
was inclined towards music and was
motivated by her family and friends towards
making her career in music and singing.
Starting from the school days, she has been
the part of every music festival, band and
choir. She left no opportunity in nurturing her
talent as a musician. In her early phase of
learning, she spent long hours in rehearsals to
polish her skills and could play all songs
flawlessly. She often added her own creativity
and new rhythms by following the same note
structure of a music piece composed by
another musician.
2. From 1999 till 2003, Jessica Kahal was the
part of the Marching Band/Concert Band
which was directed by Mr. Fesmire. She has
also shown her talent in Intermediate and
Advanced Orchestra from 2000 to 2003,
whose director was Mr. Marino. She also sung
many songs in Choir and Jazz Choir from 2002
to 2003. She has actively participated in High
3. School Musicals (Pit Orchestra), Bye Bye
Birdie in 2002, Fame! in 2002, and West Side
Story in 2003. With her talent of performing

part of Asian American Youth Symphony
Orchestra from 2002 to 2003.
With all the aforementioned activities, it can
be clearly depicted that Jessica Kahal was
very passionate about music and musical
activities. In her school years, she left no
stone unturned in nurturing her musical skills.
In addition to all these activities, she has
4. played flute solo (Mozart, Flute Concerto in D
Major) at 2002 Winter Concert with Adv.
Orchestra. She has also participated in
Certificate of Merit Competition (Flute
Competition) in 2003.
Jessica Kahal understands the rigors of
playing in a band professionally. Besides
participating, she has also conducted
Intermediate Orchestra in 2002 Winter
Concert- “Theme from Forest Grump”. The
very next year, she also organized Advanced
5. Orchestra Spring Concert. Being a talented
and active member of the music events and
activities in her school, she has been awarded
with Most Improved Advanced Orchestra in
2001.
With her genuine love for music, she is
continuing to color her love for music to make
her a better musician with each passing day.
