2 Samuel 6 tells us of how David brought the ark of the covenant to Jerusalem

2. When David was firmly established
as king of Israel,
he wanted to bring the ark of the covenant
to Jerusalem.

he used a cart, just as the Philistines had

8. Though David was angered by what God

9. This time the ark was carried by the
Levites, as God had commanded.

10. David and all the people celebrated and
worshipped God with all their might.

adoraron a Dios con todas sus fuerzas.

14. The Bible says that David’s wife Michal saw
how he danced and despised him in her
heart.

15. When David came back to bring a blessing
to his family, Michal rebuked him.

16. David said that he was worshipping God
and that he was not ashamed of what he
had done.

17. And God cursed Michal for what she had
done.

18. David came to bring her a
blessing, but Michal came away
with a curse.
