2. Healthy Relationships
There are many qualities that make up a healthy
relationship. Such as respect, trust, honesty, love, equality,
support, boundaries and many others. However I think that
one of the most important qualities is communication. I feel
that in order to have a healthy relationship with whoever,
whether it is a friend, spouse, sister, brother, parent, girlfriend
or boyfriend, you still need communication. In a healthy
relationship you need to feel comfortable. You can’t be in a
relationship with someone if you are always worried about
what they think of you, and how you look. Chances are that if
they only like you because of how you look, your relationship
is not healthy at all.

3. Unhealthy Relationships
It is really easy to get into an unhealthy relationship.
Maybe you become friends with someone that you want to be
friends with because they are cool and it’ll boost your self
esteem. Or maybe you go out with someone who is really
popular but not very nice so it will make you more popular.
That is a bad relationship. Your relationship needs to be more
than just liking someone for their social status and what they
look like. It is expected that you like them for who they are
and vice versa. In an unhealthy relationship you should never
feel pressured or obliged to do anything you don’t want to.
You should never be manipulated, used, verbally or physically
abused, or the lack of fairness and equality.

4. Bill Of Rights
-Trust: Trusting what your partner says, if they tell you that they are doing something, you should be able to trust them, and
believe that that is what they are doing. You should be able to trust them with anything, if you tell them things you should
know that you can trust them with any information you tell them.
-Support: Support his/her goals and dreams. If your partner is having problem with anything, be there for them to help them,
and support them until everything is worked out.
-Honesty: Honesty comes hand in hand with trust. There will be no trust in your relationship unless both of you are honest.
-Shared Responsibility: Make decisions together as a couple.
-Communication: Listen to what your partner says to you, and understand what he/she is saying. Talk about how you are
feeling. Avoid the silent treatment, it will not get you anywhere. You and your partner need to be able to communicate with
each other and understand each other.
-Fairness/Equality: Your relationship need to have some give and take. Take turns choosing what you are going to do
together, or what movie you are going to watch. Keep the power in your relationship 50/50. relationships get hard if there is
power struggle.
-Prioritize: Make your partner higher on your priority list. Make sure they come before lots of things, ex. Don’t get too
caught up in work, make sure that a lot of your time is spent with your partner too.
-Boundaries: Each of you should have boundaries that you are not willing to pass, and your partner needs to respect that.
-Balance: Your relationship should be balanced. You should both know each others boundaries, and
-Respect: There is no such thing as a healthy relationship without respect. Trust and respect are two of the most important
things to have in a relationship. Treat your partner how you want to be treated. Both of you need to respect each other, or your
relationship will not work, or may become abusive.

5. Conclusion
It is easy to tell if you are in a healthy
relationship or not. It is important to know the
difference between healthy and unhealthy
relationships.
