2. Story
 Mr. professor Octavian – Traian Tomici for 42
years of career proved professionalism,
competence and love for his job.
 He worked as a primary school teacher between
1962 and 1977 and after that worked as a
teacher at a school from Cuza Vodă, where he
worked with Rroma students, after 1977 he
worked as a History teacher at School no.9
Constanta.

4. Story
 From 1980 to 1989 he achieved the
position of director in School no.9
Constanta, trying to maintain the prestige
of the school through results obtained by
pupils at school and extracurricular
activities.
 Mr Tomici afirmed:
“ I have 45 years of experience in teaching

With passion, dedication and a lot of “Eros
Paidikos” (Love for children) that gave me
satisfaction and fulfillment.
I am very glad to be here with teenagers, it
stimulates me and the younger generation
learns from my experience as I share
opinion and advice with them”.

6. Story
 “ I was born in 1942 in the Tudor
Vladimirescu county in Tariverde,
Constanta. I finished the teacher
pedagogical education in Constanta, in
1962 and the Bucharest University, in
1969. I have been training a lot of
generations of students who followed
superior studies in which History was an
exam subject.

7. Story
 I graduated from University and then I worked as a
teacher at the no 9 School of Constanta. Between
1980-2000 I was the teacher who thought another
collegues from the Constanta county.
 Over time I had scientific interests, publishing articles in
History magazines.
 The pupils from the no 9 School obtained prizes in
school competitions such as “ My History –Eustory-
2000 having the support from the Romanian- German
Institute of Interdisciplinary Research, Korber
Foundation and of the National Education Ministry.

8. Story
 I have always loved my job and I still do.
Even if I am retired I am still an active
person. I like helping young people and
now I am writing my memories.
 I wrote an autobiography, which came out
this year, being named “The roots from
which I drew”.
