Samsung unveiled three new digital cameras for the consumer photography market at IFA 2011 last
month but pricing and release wasn’t 100% clear for each model. However now the three models –
Samsung WB750, Samsung MultiView MV800, and Samsung NX200– have had their release and
pricing details revealed.
Samsung WB750 smallThe cheaper and
more modest model, the Samsung WB750,
will set you back $279.99 when it’s made
available for purchase later this month. The
WB750 for that price provides a 12.5
megapixel 1/2.33-inch BSI CMOS Sensor
(should produce some quality photos), an 18x
optical zoom lens, Optical and Digital Image
Stabilization, Full HD video 1920×1080
(30fps) capture w/ 10MP stills in videos, 3-
inch AMOLED rear LCD (AMOLED is the
premier panel for bright high-quality picture),
HDMI output, SDXC card support, built-in Advanced HDR for your photos, and many more pre-sets
for turning normally boring shots into something more. (full manufacturer specs. here)
The Samsung MultiView V800 is a unique camera in that it features a rear-LCD that can be flipped-up
into a 90-degree angle to give you an enhanced self-portrait experience by making it easier to frame
shots without outside help. For its unique functionality, and other camera features, the Samsung
MV800 is available for order now at the reduced price of $249.99 through Buy.com. The MV800
carries an MSRP of $279.99 just like the WB750 does, but since it’s actually available you can get it
for below MSRP with ease.
