ATTIC (Assistive Technology Training and Information Center) was created in 1997 to assist special needs students in eastern Wayne County, Michigan access assistive technology. ATTIC lends any item or equipment that can increase, maintain, or improve the functional capabilities of children with disabilities. Items are loaned to teachers, school staff, or parents for up to 90 days and may be used at school or home. ATTIC also provides training and consultation services to help children and professionals select and use assistive technology.
